Lemon Verbena Hydrosol is from a distillation from the leaves of the wild crafted plants also known as Lippia citriodora. The scent is absolutely amazing, with fresh lemon notes and a very slight sweet note.
Lemon Verbena is known to be intoxicating and the hydrosol delivers the same impact though in a much more gentle and delicate balance. It is prized for it's anti-microbial benefits and caution is advised with the undiluted essential oil due to high citral components making the more gentle nature of the hydrosol much more attractive. In skin care it is best suited to oily skin and makes a wonderful addition to body care products geared toward skin clarity.
