Glycereth-26 is the polyethylene glycol ether of glycerin with an average of 26 repeating units of ethylene glycol. It is a humectant with a smooth, luxurious feel, it functions as an emulsifier, refatting agent, solubilizer, dispersant, viscosity modifier, foam modifier, plasticizer and lubricant. It is recommended for make-up, creams, lotions, anti-perspirants, beauty masks, depilatories as well as hair care formulations. It possesses moisturizing properties and adds sheen to hair.
