Disodium EDTA acts as a chelating agent. It enhances anti-microbial activity by complexing with metal ions found in the cell walls of microbes. It is a partially neutralized salt of EDTA, in dry form. It is suitable for applications requiring neutral pH or mildly acidic conditions.
It is suitable for moisturizers, conditioners, anti-aging products, shampoos, body wash, styling gels, lotions, facial cleanser products, foundation, sunscreens and acne treatment products.
